Love, sexuality & superconsciousness - Unlocking the door to Cosmic creativity

Love & sexuality is almost always seen as a social contract - not as an expression of creativity, but as a transaction.
If you love someone, you want them to love you back - or else the transaction fails. And even worse - sometimes, what we mistake as love, comes from a place of unmet emotional needs.
On the other hand, sex is seen as an exchange of benefits. A woman provides sex, as long as a man provides her with his service & protection. And in some cases, sex has become a way to release pent up frustrations. But is it really a good long term solution?
How long can you play this game?
As long as such social constructs and transactions exist - how can you expect the creative current of the cosmos to flow through you? And is it really love that you experience in such transactional agreements? The sex that you are having, is it filling your mind, body & soul? Or is it just an act of rebellion or perhaps a way to release your frustrations?

Let us take a look at a different way - a way where a man & a woman come together, not with the intention of using each other to fulfil basic human needs, but to create each other in the image of the Divine.
A man meets a woman, and he wishes to create this woman in the image of the Goddess. And the woman, she wishes to create this man in the image of Shiva - the Divine masculine. They are not in a hurry. They do not rush to talk or try to fix anything. They do not judge each other's journey. They simply sit with this desire to create each other, to build each other.
And in this silent space, without words being spoken, something magical happens. For the first time, the man sees the woman for who she truly is. And the woman sees the man for who he truly is. They do not see each other through the lenses of their own memories, or past disappointments, they do not project their own trauma or unmet emotional needs. They see each other as children of the Divine.
It is in this silent poetry, the magic unfolds. There is space for connection. There is space for creation.

You will be surprised to know that in the Sanskrit language, there is no exact word for 'sex'. There are words like 'Maithuna' which literally mean 'union', or words like 'Sambhoga' which literally mean 'Sensual delight'. Such words reflect the approach to sexuality in ancient Indian society.
The ancient sages knew the power of the sexual fire to transform an individual's life when channeled in the proper way or direction. If you wish to understand how powerful your sexual fire is - next time when you feel the need do release sexually, instead just sit down to draw or write something. You will see just how creative your output is.
That is the essence of Tantra - to not release or suppress your life force, but to use it, to channel it in the proper direction. And if you can sustain the channeling for a while, the internal heat (tejas) generated, will evaporate the waters of consciousness and you will experience the endless bliss of Samadhi (Superconsciousness) as the steam rises up the Chakras and reaches the higher centers of your spine.
And thus, we do not teach our students to suppress their desires, we invite them to explore themselves, to dive deep into the muddy waters so that eventually they learn how to swim, instead of drowning throughout their lives.
See you soon!
